Melissa Hartfiel is the co-founder and current host of the And She Looked Up Creative Hour Podcast. She is a designer, illustrator, writer and photographer with a penchant for vibrant colour. She’s been a self-employed creative since 2010.

Prior to setting out on her own, Melissa spent 20 years in retail pharmacy, both on the front lines in management and in corporate headquarters roles. Since chucking in her corporate career to become an artist, she has co-founded a multi 6 figure a year company and currently runs three successful ventures in the creative space.

Melissa is a happy clam when she’s doodling, gardening, or reading or watching a good British mystery. She may or may not have an unhealthy obsession with TLC’s 90 Day Fiance franchise. She spends 99% of her allotted Instagram time following dog accounts (tell your dog she says “hi”!).

Melissa loves the rain, which is good because she’s currently based just outside of Vancouver, Canada. You can find her on Instagram @mhchipmunk and Twitter @mhchipmunk and you can shop her artwork on Etsy. You can learn more about Melissa’s story in Episode #1.

Lisa Bolton is the co-founder and former co-host of the And She Looked Up Creative Hour. She is a writer, food stylist, and photographer.  With a passion for business, she considers herself an unexpected creative at heart.

Lisa did an undergraduate degree in business, followed by a Masters in one, both with a focus on entrepreneurship and small enterprise.  She spent 15 years in personal and commercial banking ascending as the youngest Director to run two different divisions. Her new career in motherhood sparked an artistic side she didn’t know existed.  Soon, she had forged a unexpected creative path that led to authoring a national best selling cookbook, On Boards. (Appetite Penguin Random House, 2018)

Lisa lives on the west coast with her husband and son. She loves spending time as a soccer & baseball mom, glamping in the Pacific North West and cooking for friends and family.
